I upgraded my wordpress installation!
Last time, I messed it all up and it took me almost a whole day to figure out what I had forgotten to do. This time, I messed it up in the EXACT SAME WAY, but it took me only about forty minutes to remember what I had forgotten last time. I call that a win.
See, the index.php file at the root of your directory - it changes somewhat if you change other things around, like maybe you update your blog software, for example. It’s supposed to be overwritten by the newest package, but because I always install wordpress to a separate directory and then tell it to publish to the root, I forgot to do this.
Triple d’oh.
At any rate - welcome back, if you tried to get here earlier and were stymied by the php error. Sorry about that, yo.
TOTAL SUBJECT CHANGE!
Last year, I was doing the whole 365 thing over at Flickr. You’re supposed to take photos of yourself (or whatever you decide to dedicate the project to) every day for a year. I failed both times I tried it, because life kept getting in the way. However, I really miss doing that. Not because I’m so horribly egotistical (at least I don’t THINK that’s what it is, but I suppose I could be completely fooling myself), but because it was an intrinsically creative thing for me to do every day.
There was a really fun meme I participated in during my second try; it was the alphabet project, and every day I had to take a photo of me and theme it to fit that day’s letter. (As you can see, I put my favorite one here, heehee.)
Do you guys think I could do it again? Would you even want me to? What if I did, like, a haphazard version of it - much like my sorry-ass version of Blog365? I would, of course, be publishing photos here as well as at my Flickr account.

I love your pics on Flickr so all for the photo-meme idea :)
As for the WP upgrade… I haven’t yet tried it. I was all set to on Sat night and then J’s friend came over and I was too distracted by chatting to an ACTUAL PERSON to do it. I will soon though… honest.

I vote yes on photo blog, but Miss Smarty Pants, you have to use the Greek Alphabet for your letters.

I think I came up to 260 days or so ;)
I was thinking of doing it again, but I’m oh so bad lately :)
And yes, I always manage to screw something up when upgrading my blog ;)

Blogging for 365 is tiresome to be sure, for I did it with a devotional book I was reading through. If its worth doing, do it well and keep plodding on. Let me know if you try to restart and I will RSS it to Bloglines feed, front page.
