ENDED: Logo Giveaway Contest! You Could Win! OMG!!

by Rachael E.C. Acklin on May 19, 2009

CONTEST ENDED – WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN SOON! THANK YOU!

Hi, all you awesome readers! You get the FIRST chance to win a brand new, shiny awesome logo, designed by yours truly!

I am trying not to make it too complicated, so here are the details:

WHAT YOU GET!

A shiny awesome logo! According to the handy-dandy description from my Design Studio website, this is what a logo is:

Logos are used in website designs, business cards, promotional items, and so on. A logo brands your company and website in a personal, visual, recognizable way.

(Want to see some examples? Take a look at the Logos and Headers portfolio collection.)

HOW TO ENTER!

There are a frickton of ways you can enter to win! Okay, more like four. But you can get even more entries if you tell someone else about this contest!

1. The FIRST way to enter is FILL OUT THE CONTACT FORM and request a quote for one of the things I do. (Don’t worry, this does NOT obligate you to buy anything, but it sure is fun to find out how much is that thing you’ve been wanting, am I right?)

This is the only step that is MANDATORY, because, well, because it’s my contest. ;)

2. The SECOND way to enter is to Tweet or Plurk about the contest, using this exact text right here:

Win A NEW LOGO from @caffeinatedelf! Enter to win here: http://bit.ly/logocontest

I left you enough room to tell people to say YOU sent them.

3. The THIRD way to enter is get people to refer you when they enter – they need to put your name, or website address, or Twitter ID, or Plurk ID in the ‘Who referred you?’ field when they fill out the Contact form. (BONUS: once you start referring people, you’ll get a $20 credit/coupon/discount thingy for each one that becomes a paying client of mine! You could get something designed for FREE!)

4. The FOURTH way to enter is to subscribe to my blog feed, using the email form right over there in the sidebar. (If you don’t see it, comment and let me know!) Why? Because I love people, and I love people who read my blog, and if I’m completely boring then you can always unsubscribe later. But not until the contest ends, HA.

HOW TO LET ME KNOW YOU ENTERED!

If you fill out the contact form, I get a notification, so I can put your name in the hat.

If you tweet or plurk the message above, I’ll see it because I will be frantically searching for those tweets and plurks, so I can put your name in the hat. (If your timeline is private, though, you will have to give me a link to the tweet or plurk so that I don’t miss it, please!)

If you refer someone and they remembered to put your name in the field, I can put your name in the hat.

If you subscribe to my blog by email, I don’t have any way of knowing whose email goes with whose name, so you have to LEAVE A COMMENT HERE and let me know you subscribed, so I can put your name in the hat.

Confused? Just leave a comment or email me, and we’ll get it sorted out.

HOW LONG IS THIS CONTEST ANYWAY?

This contest will end on JUNE 3RD, which means you have just over two weeks! Go go go!

Yay! You might be a winner! I’m so excited!!

If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed!

How was I not signed up for blog updates before? I’m not sure… but I am now! It took a contest to do it, I’m so ashamed!

I have subscribed to your blog. I also tweeted but I think my profile is private and don’t know how to send you a link. my twitter id is JoyfulatHome.

I entered by contact form, tweet & plurk (asking people refer me by this name!) and subscribed to your blog with this email address. Go me!

Tweeted you this morning! (not for the current project though) If I win, I would love a logo for my kids “homeschool mascot”!

Ok, I plurked it. Yes I’m easy that way when free stuff is available ;)

Hi,
I’ve subscribed to your blog as wordmagician

I am going to warn you, I did this a while back and I was not greeted with open arms by the design community. I have since learned that contest like these are considered spec and the type of clients they bring are usually (not always) bottom feeders. I really like your work by the way.

@Patrick, thanks for the compliments. :)

I actually know almost everyone who has entered so far (or I know who knows them), because of the way I’ve marketed this contest. But thank you for your advice, I always appreciate it!

Hey! I didn’t even know you had a blog. Just thought you were a half head and a camera on the IttyBiz forum. Look forward to seeing you posts in Google Reader…and winning a logo for Young Profit Pros. :)

I’ve joined the blog. I look forward to reading it. I love meeting other IttyBizers!

Subscribed and look forward to the drawing!! Tried to get a quote for a page design and other stuff as well.

Awesome contest! I contacted you for a quote and also signed up for an e-mail subscription, cause I’m liking your blog :).

I subscribed! …and twittered (tweeted?), and filled out the handy dandy contact form. :)

All righty then–I subscribed and I hope I’m entered. AKA (at) SnakeCharmers on Twitter (no actual snakes charmed in the act of Twittering, I’m afraid–or ever–The Snake Charmers are a blues band).

Please tell me this is transferable? :) I’d like to give it to my husband if I win. What better way is there to be launched into entrepreneurialism than to be gifted a logo?

Ema June 1, 2009 at 1:03 pm

I twittered, filled out the contact form, and subscribed via email.

Would LOVE to win. Am just building a biz that could use a more professional logo than the hack job I’ve done. :)
