76: On and on I write!

Well, folks, (all eleventy-one of you), this the final week!

The final week of what, you ask? Isn’t this the first week of Christmas shopping? Wasn’t last week Thanksgiving? Why is this week special other than being the last week of - OH. It’s the last week of November. And you’re that crazy idiot who decided to do Nano again this year, I remember now, and you fell off the wagon, didn’t you?

Well, yes, in fact, you are right! I DID fall off the wagon. I fell off it hard and it hurted quite a bit. I still have bruises, in fact.

But that doesn’t keep me from behaving in my usual insane manner, and trying it again while I still have time! As you can see (or perhaps you can’t), I have put a helpful widget in the sidebar on the right, to help you see just how horrible my wordcount has been all this month (see the awful red bars only slightly eaten into by itty green bits), and then see how many words I wrote today? SEE?!

I can do this. I’m trying my hardest, and I really think I can do this. Call me crazy, call me a nutcase, throw up your hands and walk away - I don’t care. I can see the finish line and it’s covered in chocolate and SLEEP, so get outta my way! I have a novel to finish writing!
