54: Crap in a handbasket.

This poor blog, I mean… it’s going to crap in a handbasket. And why, you ask?! Because I’m worried about posting what’s going on with me, because there are people who obsessively check and re-check this blog to see what I’m doing. No, I’m not kidding. Sigh.

Tim did file for divorce, and we are in proceedings for that. There are custody issues being worked out for my littlest boy, which are understandably emotional and difficult, and I’m not going to blather about it here because (as I’ve said before) this isn’t the place for that.

I have a job, I’m alive and well, and my precious kids are more awesome every day. And that’s all that matters really, at least right now. So do walks on warm summer evenings, reading stories at bedtime, going to the playground, and eating ice cream on the front porch; but shelter, food, and love are most important of all.

One of the things that makes me who I am is that I always try to do the right thing - even when that means I have to find out what it is so I can do it. I’m always working to be a better mom, a better person, a better friend and human being. It’s hard but it’s worth it, because who are my kids looking at to teach them how a person is supposed to be? ME. So chin up, face forward, and march on.

(Yes, that was a self-pep-talk, haha. So bite me!)

<whine> Also, I am getting a cold, so I have a scratchy throat and an oncoming headache. </end whine>

(I don’t know what’s up with this post, as it is confusing me when I read through it. Hopefully it doesn’t make your heads explode, dear readers.)
