43: Ignore previous ribbon. (EDITED to include links to interviews!)

Actually, this post is an interview that the lovely sudiegirl has emailed me. Without further ado, here you go!
- Did you ever get the request filled for chicken soup and conditioner?
- Peanut butter, honey, and Dorito sandwiches? What are you THINKIN?
- Can you remember the first record album you saved money for? What’s the name?
- Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, did you get their autograph or take a picture of them? (Stalking doesn’t count and is not advised.)
- Coffee or tea? Whichever you choose, do you take them “straight” or with “additives” (cream, sugar, etc)?
Actually, no. Nobody sent me soup, nobody bought me conditioner. But *I* bought me conditioner! And we got better, so hooray!
HAHA. I am thinking crunchy, salty, sweet, and with protein all at the same time! Mmm. Now I am hungry. (And yes, I am completely aware that the phrase I just used sounds SO WRONG.)
Ooh, gosh. I am pretty certain that the first album that I ever bought was U2’s Achtung Baby, which I loved then and love now. U2 rocks my world.
But the first tape (haha) that I remember having was Hoi Polloi’s Spin Me, which my dad bought for me at Jellybean (used book/music store). I played the heck out of that thing on my huge stereo that I bought (used) with birthday moneys, and would turn it up as loud as I could without getting in trouble, so that I could drown myself in the music for a while. And now that I’ve remembered that album, I’m considering buying it again. And now that I am thinking about it, I am SO glad I’m not a teenager any more. *shudder*
I also loved Green Day, but I wasn’t allowed to purchase or own anything of theirs - they were eeeevil. And I loved Nirvana, but I wasn’t even going to try and ask for the CD with the naked baby and the dollar bill on the cover. Haha.
I haven’t met many celebrities, but the one person I met and was totally geeked over was when I was fourteen, and I was at a Newsboys concert. I thought the keyboard player, Corey, was SO HOT. He had longish black hair, and a pretty smile, and was in a band!! (squee!) So when the time came that we could go up and say hello (we were there when they were setting up - I was with some cousins of mine and my aunt), I awkwardly accosted him and mostly just smiled stupidly and wondered why my face wasn’t falling off or catching on fire. He was very nice, and had no idea that I would then crush on him for about a year or so. Every time I saw him in a magazine article I would feel all butterflied and moony, and when I read that he got married I was actually UPSET.
Okay, that actually is a slightly creepy memory. Thanks sudiegirl!! :p
Oh, and I do have a picture of the band somewhere that they all signed.
Coffee! AND tea!
I drink coffee every day, and I put cream in it. I prefer heavy whipping cream (oh yumminess and creamy thickness), but I can get by with half and half or even milk, if I have to. I don’t ever put sugar in, but conversely, I do love a good Starbucks/Coffee Beanery/Seattle’s Best Coffee specialty drink. My favorite is normally some kind of Mocha. When I buy coffee to make at home, I tend to get the richest, strongest tasting blend, because weak coffee is just so icky.
When I’m stressed, or sleepy, or wanting something hot to drink that won’t keep me up too long, I go for tea. I particularly love Tazo teas, and their Zen tea is absolutely amazingly delicious… there is green tea, lemongrass, and spearmint in it, among other things.
So, the rules of this interview type meme are thusly: if you would like me to send you five questions to answer on your own blog, feel free to do so in the comments. :)

Oh, and *heavy* cream? Really? I’m a table cream fiend myself, but I find that 35% makes it waaay too slimy if you’re not super careful about how much you put in.
Apr 25, 2007
Yup, heavy cream. About a quarter inch in the bottom of the cup, then strong hot coffee into that, and as long as you can drink it within a half hour (or warm it up if that fails), the consistency is perfect. :D

For some reason I thought I commented asking for questions. But then I never heard from you - so I checked back. Alas, no comment by me.
