28: A day to do nothing at all.

I love Saturdays.
Well, I love Saturdays when I don’t have anything I HAVE to get up and do, or a thing to attend, or any engagements whatsoever. And this is one of those Saturdays.
The kids woke up fairly quietly, and read books for a while. I turned on cartoons (the nice safe kind - PBS Kids and then QUBO) after a breakfast of cereal (and reading more at the table), and they’ve been happily enjoying the ‘brain rotting’, as they call it (LOL!), for a few hours now.
I haven’t showered yet, nor have I brushed my teeth. I’m on my second cup of coffee and there is a plate of whole wheat toast with Nutella next to me. Both Lissie and Joey have already pinched me today because I haven’t changed my clothes either, and I’m NOT WEARING GREEN!
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day - may your day be full of stuff you want to do, not stuff you have to do.

(Sorry, you’d had to have been there LOL) I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend coming up here soon though!

ROFL, Phil - it sounds like you had a ridiculously good time. ;)
Grampal, it’s kind of like peanut butter infused with chocolate and hazelnut. SO YUMMY.

ROFL! I might have, if it weren’t for the fact that I was home with the kids all day. ;)
