25: Older and wiser.

Now that the dust has somewhat settled, I’ll go ahead and inform the handful of you who know me of what all the vaguely unsettling comments around here are referring to.

On Sunday last, I kicked Tim out of my house.

Yes, I have good reasons. No, I won’t get into them here, because this is not the place for that. And yes, I did think long and hard, and agonize over the decision. Having made it, however, there is no going back.

I have three children that I am responsible for, to provide for and to assure their safety. I have done that and will continue to do that. Don’t you worry about me, or us. Pray for us, think about us - yes, please. But don’t worry for us. What wisdom and clarity I possess, has only been magnified through these circumstances and through the strength I draw from God, from family, and from good friends.
